Experienced entrepreneur, technologist and executive in various technology companies for over 20 years.
Bob is former CEO, co-founder of and strategic consultant for CallWave, Inc., Santa Barbara, CA. Prior to founding CallWave, he was CEO of Connected Systems, a computer-telephony systems manufacturer focused on small business voice-messaging and voice-over IP solutions. He is an accomplished technologist and entrepreneur, having founded and grown multiple companies in the data and voice-communications industries. He was president and founder of ComDesign, a data-communications company which was one of the first suppliers of packet switches, and an OEM supplier of multiplexors to IBM, DEC, and ATT. He also was an investor and director of a number of communications and computer companies including Pacific Data Products, Xcelerated Systems, Prodigy Communications, and ICCI. In the early- to mid-1970s, Bob worked on research projects involving the ARPA Network (the precursor to the Internet), early communications protocols, operating systems, and voice-on-network applications.
